Zita Izsó writes poetry and theatre plays and translates literary texts from English, French, German and Spanish. She graduated with a degree in law from Budapest’s ELTE University but then devoted herself exclusively to literature. She has been publishing books since 2007. She is also the editor of several internet portals focused on literature. The book Fenced Forest (the Czech translation Oplocený les by Robert Svoboda; Větrné mlýny, 2023) is her fourth individual collection of poetry.
