DEAR FRIENDS
We would like to offer you the participation in the BookWorld Brno 2003 book fair, which will take place on 14th-16th November 2003 at the Brno exhibition grounds.
Our main objective in holding this first Brno BookWorld was to contribute to the development of book culture not only within the framework of the Prague BookWorld book fair, but also in a region of no smaller significance, which Moravia undoubtedly represents. The event has been granted the auspices of the city of Brno lord mayor RNDr. Petr Duchoň.
We hope that this selling book event will become a focus for the meeting of publishers, booksellers, literary agents and people interested in literature and culture in general.

We believe that the success of the event and the satisfaction of all its participants will be contributed to not only by our efforts and varied accompanying programme, but also by the modern and well-established exhibition grounds, incorporated in the framework of prospective Europe-wide exhibition projects.
We are aware of the fact that the date of the event coincides with the Bratislava book fair. Nonetheless, we believe that the geographical proximity of these two cities can only increase the number of visitors and establish a link between the two events. We would like to operate a shuttle service between the two book fairs, providing as great a number of people as possible the opportunity of visiting both these events.
You will find enclosed a registration form along with stand construction order form and a special offer including accommodation at a discounted price.
